Why should I plan my meals?
Weekly meal plans make your entire week easier! Here’s why I love having my dinners planned in advance:
- Less stress: You already know what’s for dinner, so you won’t have to worry about the last minute.
- Save money: A plan helps you stick to your shopping list, use what you buy, and cut down on takeout.
- Healthier foods: With a plan and the right ingredients on hand, it’s easier to cook at home than order takeout.
- Save time: Meal planning means fewer extra trips to the grocery store and no longer staring at the refrigerator wondering what to make.
- Easier afternoons: Dinner feels more manageable and everyone knows what to expect that week!

Remains of the weekly meal plan
I only plan my meals Monday through Friday because sometimes we have plans for the weekend, or I have leftovers to finish the week! If you have leftovers, be sure to store them properly in an airtight container in your refrigerator.
