School is over and I’m so excited to have my kids home! I love the quieter mornings, the extra time together, and all the memories of summer. But let’s face it, having everyone home also means everyone is hungry all dayso I’m going to go back into meal prep mode to keep the week a little less chaotic.

What am I preparing for food this week?
Summer days are full, messy, and somehow everyone is hungry all the time. This week’s meal prep is here to help with easy dinners that keep things simple, delicious, and a little less “what are we eating tonight?”

How many do you feed?
This free weekly meal plan helps you start the week with five easy dinners that fuel 4-6 people (depending on whether you’re feeding adults or children), plus a complete shopping list to keep things simple.
Why should you meal prep?
If you haven’t tried planning your meals ahead of time, it can really make your entire week feel less chaotic. Here’s why I swear:
- Save time: No more panicking at dinner at 4:00 pm You already know what’s on the menu, what you need and how long it takes.
- Save money: A planned shopping list helps you shop smarter, use what you already have, and make the most of leftovers.
- Less takeout: When dinner is planned and shopping is done, it’s much easier to skip the drive-thru and cook at home.
My weekly menu meal prep always includes a printable shopping list, measured and ready to go. Makes things so easy! If you don’t see something you like, check out my other weekly meal plans here.

Storing leftovers for meal planning
I only meal plan Monday through Friday because we usually have plans over the weekend! And I always have leftovers we can use to finish the week! If you have leftovers, be sure to store them properly in an airtight container in your refrigerator.
