Remember the gorgeous sugar cookies at my twins’ first Sweet Shoppe birthday party? Well… I didn’t make them. My incredibly talented friend, Marianne from Sweetopia, created them. Since then, I have tried real icing sugar cookies several times. While I’m a long way from becoming my Sweetopia idol, I’m having fun trying.
Are you in need of Valentine’s Day Sugar Cookie Ideas? I have three in one!
First. my sweet ‘Rated G’ Marbled Valentine’s Day Sugar Cookies. These are definitely the ones you’ll want to bring to children’s Valentine’s parties.
Aren’t they fun? This sweet heart border is surprisingly easy to create!
Royal Icing Rules!
Using royal icing, simply outline and fill your heart with a base color. Then add dots of a contrasting color around the edges. Simply drag the toothpick across the dots around the edges.

Smooth the frosting with a toothpick. Shake to settle.

I used a pinch of open heart to create a lace underwear.
