Move over, farmers market! We’ve got the best produce of the season here! This month, we’re bringing the orchard to you with our felt peach plush. This project is embroidered to the brim with sunshine and is perfect for summertime whimsy. Pair it with our felt lemons, strawberry plant, pears, apples, and pomegranates to create the most adorable fruit stand in the neighborhood.

These felt peaches are great for those looking for a fun way to practice a variety of simple stitches (blanket stitches, straight stitches, and whip stitches) to be precise. These techniques not only hold the peach together, but also add lovely details that make it look ready to be harvested.
Summer is practically synonymous with peaches and we definitely let the warm weather and beautiful colors of the season inspire our lovely felt version. Bursting with juice and sweetness, peaches also add the perfect pop of color to any kitchen countertop. But best of all, these soft felt peaches will last all year long!
Our design for this project focuses on creating a whole peach and charming embroidered peach slices for your little one to enjoy. To capture the delicate hues of a white peach, we’ve used a non-toxic pink art marker to add a beautiful color variation for a touch of realism. However, if you prefer a simpler look, you can skip this step.
Once you’ve finished your felt peach, you’ll have the perfect addition to your child’s summer fruit stand. You can also stack them in a large wooden bowl and place them on your table to create a unique and stylish centerpiece.
