Few things in life are more impactful than a perfect red or pink lip. Whether you have an important date planned or just want to show off your new seasonal lip color, I know how important it is to create a lip look that won’t wear off in five minutes. This is harder than ever with face masks involved! Whether I’m backstage at a show or getting a client ready for the red carpet, I always use one of the best long-wearing lipsticks in my kit and make sure that the lip prep and finish extends the lip color even further.

Homework:
Always make sure to prep your lips well before you start. Use a lip scrub, such as Kiko Pure Clean Scrub & Peel, to remove dead skin cells.
Major:
Use a lip liner as a base, applying a layer of the same shade over the entire surface of your lips before applying your usual lip colour on top. For a long-lasting finish, choose one of my favourite long-wearing lipsticks, pictured below.
Dust:
If you’re looking for a matte finish, blot your lipstick and lightly apply loose powder via a tissue over your lips for a super long-lasting finish.
