Badgers are fascinating creatures with a long history of captivating hearts, particularly in English folklore. Known for their tenacity, badgers are expert diggers and often use their strong forelimbs to build extensive underground homes called cobbles. In fact, European badgers are some of the most skilled foragers in the animal kingdom, spending their nights foraging for delicacies like earthworms and berries. Their distinctive black and white markings give them a distinctive appearance and help them recognize each other.
To create our Felt Badger, we chose our wool blend felt in marble, black and white to give it a soft yet sturdy look. With a few stitches and some careful shaping with your stuffing tools, you’ll see your badger come together piece by piece. And don’t forget those adorable 6mm safety eyes to give personality to your new Badger friend.
