These felt ball woodland animals are a beginner project and couldn’t be easier to make.
Using soft wool felt balls in warm autumn colors, such as terracotta, mushroom and almond, you will cut small ears, snouts and wings from wool blend felt. While you can use a cutting machine, it’s best to cut small details with scissors. After all, precision is key! Add the finishing touch with a little glue, attach craft eyes and voila, your woodland friends are complete!
Each felt ball transforms into the body of a charming little animal (a bear, a fox or an owl) waiting to come to life. But why stop at one? Since the felt balls come in sets of six, you can create an entire forest of forest friends. Imagine a family of foxes, bears, and furry owls perched on your mantelpiece or peeking out from your shelves!
